IDE: Favorites in FileExplorer

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

IDE: Favorites in FileExplorer

Post by bembulak »

Hi,

maybe this is just a thing that would help only me, but nevertheless:

"Quick Places" or "Favorites" would be an enhancement to the FileExplorer in the IDE.

A Picture says more than 1000 words:

Why?
As one might see in the picture above, I do have network shares I'm working on. There are backup folders, project folders, the local Examples folder within the PureBasic directory, a snippets folder, a dropbox folder...
cheers,

Windows 7 has a Favorites folder available when you choose File/Open. Even better, there is a Recent Places folder. This last is something I use whenever I need a file outside my normal PB directory because it includes Downloads, Documents, Images, and anything else I frequently use. :)
