Three miles from my home

It is much, much worse in many parts of Maryland.  Roads washed out, bridges gone, homes ruined, etc.  One town is being completely evacuated because it is expected to see flood levels not seen since Hurricane Agnes hit in 1972.

FWIW, in the top picture the place with the red sign with white lettering is Andy Nelson's Barbecue which has the best BBQ in the state.

*sighs*  We have another big line of thunderstorms heading towards us.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories. ♥️

Sometimes winter doesn't sound so bad during seasons like this. And if I'm ever that way, you're buying. I've seen "Elf". World's best cup of coffee, my ass. ;)

Hmm... Two winters ago, we got four feet of snow all at once, and last winter we got very close to that twice. I still prefer the winter, I love the cold weather. Too damn old and can't handle the heat anymore.

That's a lot of snow! But you got to love them snow days. Well that's if you have a job and your boss, who might have a 4x4 Hummer doesn't say, "I made in just fine".

I can't drive anymore, so I don't have to worry about the snow other than digging out one elderly neighbor's car. :)

You need to get all of the fat people in your state to jump up and down at the same time and tilt the Earth a bit so all of this water will run down your way.
