Does anyone else out there loathe .Net'? It took me 7 hours yesterday just to get the stupid patches from Microsoft to apply, and I don't think I even use it!
Between Microsoft runtime, Java runtime, Adobe Flash, we seem to get inundated with patches every month! Makes me wonder why people complicate their lives while using these, just seems like one more layer you have to worry about failing.
Makes you appreciate PureBasic that much more!

Re: Flaming .Net!
...It is the .Net framework that has added further security vulnerabilities, so perhaps the winner of their competition http://www.microsoft.com/security/blueh ... rules.aspx could simply write a .Net remover app.........

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

I hated it before win7... now that it comes "preinstalled," it just doesn't matter anymore...it's like complaining there's windows on your computer.
