I'm sorry to see that the new source code panel forces on it's own style and doesn't respect the freedom of the users self determination by the local theme settings anymore.
It's the same on Windows as on Linux.
On Linux this matter is even very irritating as there is no more optical separating line between the tabs and the code. So it looks as if the tab-row-text is always part of the code and too makes it harder to distinguish which tab refers to the current code.
I wish this could be made at least a deselectable option.

No replies...?
I finally tried the 4.6 betas today, and personally I don't mind the new tabs (especially because they add drag'n'reorder functionality!)
However I don't know what it looks like on Linux. Maybe it needs some further tweaking?
And an option to toggle it would be nice, but maybe tricky to implement.

That's exactly what i think about the new tabs. I would appreciate to get the old ones back, because they matched the system style which is from my point of view much nicer than the new ones.

Here is a sample picture of my PureBasic IDE. I changed the tool bar icons to GTK stock icons. On the right side you can see the native system tabs, on the left the new tabs which do not fit the system style at all.

I am looking forward getting the old style back
