4.60b1 new code panel drop down list ?

Is the new drop down list of the navigation panel only a dumb overview list or is it meant to allow to jump to a chosen code?

If yes - how do you achiev this, because simple choosing/clicking on any entry doesn't do anything?

(same on Windows as on Linux)
