OGRE needs to make sure dll is included [resolved]

Post by Rook Zimbabwe »

OK so I have finished my program and it runs in the compiler quite well.

But when I compile it I cannot make it run even when running from inside the creation directory... Has anyone had this experience?

edit: I switched the lib to DirectX7 and it still runs in the compiler (jaggy as all get out) but NOT when compiled... WTH!!!

tried with 4.41 and 4.51+ no luck!

It sounds like you may be missing some Direct X versions, but I'm certain I am wrong.

As said in the other topic: you need to include the Engine3D.dll.

The actual and sad thing is I remembered reading something about a dll after I had gotten into bed and I was so warm and comfortable I just didn't want to leap out and redo it yet... still I didn't know where the engine3d.dll file was... thanks DarkDragon

Download is now updated and in Announcements... needs to have a few people try it with different vid cards and see if it works...
