Get system defined colours

Hi,

A cross platform method for getting system colours would be nice (e.g. the equivalent of Win32 GetSysColor_()).

I've seen people discuss system colours on the forum but never seen an actual request for a command to get the colours.

If you paint your butt blue and glue the hole shut you just themed your ass but lost the functionality.
