Perfect version of DC machine, include VGA S AV headphone connection. Before the AV connection is on top of network cable, so when you remove the AV line, the network cable can come off easily as well. But now is all on back of the DC, pulse add SD card connection on the front, you can also import your DC game in to the SD card, save space, less CD needed. Giving out a free SD UMD disk. Especially for play FC, MD, N64, NEOCD, MAME and GBA etc the simulator can work perfectly. This machine have also had a DC BIOS core plate, can read any format, so don't ask what version is this machine, there are no version limed anymore. For the color of DIY cover please contact with the owner.
It's difficult to translate, the Chinese grammar used is not so good. The company is in Anhui Province, Mainland China. The info seems to say that these units are not new, the direct translation is "second hand". If you use Goggle Translate, you should be able to navigate the check out.

If it sounds simple, you have not grasped the complexity.

The checkout system doesn't work while running it through Goggle Translate. I can't navigate the checkout far enough to see where they ship. And I doubt they ship to the states.

I've sent him a PM. His profile says that he's in Houston, TX.
Thorium wrote:Making the VGA mod is pretty easy as the chip outputs VGA, it's just missing a port.
But the SD card reader is actualy much harder to do.
The VGA mod I could probably handle. As you said, it's the SD card reader that's the hard part.
I imagine that if I can get "one" of these I could at least maintain it or port the mod to another one if it dies. I only have basic soldering skills so the the SD mod from scratch is probably well beyond my abilities.
My wife says she does know the company...
I looks like the site says it will not play all US games. I am wondering why that is? Did the US sega use ASCII and the EU/Asia use UNicode??? She cannot understand the part abou the TV needed either. I told her American DVD and VHS plays on CHinese and vice versa... I think she is getting tripped up by the VGA out. She does not know enough technology words to make it go. I got her to email her brother in Guangzho... if it isss ANYWHERE in China it is in Guangzho... She iss also sending a file request through FOXCONN network to see if they made it somewhere...
the translation is here and acceptable... I didnn't want to type what my wife was reading... I will tell you I was NOT allowed to click the purchase links by the website! http://dreamcast.dcemu.co.uk/
I will hit you back if my brother in law locates the company... Maybe they will be on eBay soon... I remember the TREAMCAST... they got shut down pretty quick!
Just compare the prices. You get a full modded Dreamcast with internal VGA and internal SD Card mods for a unbeatable price.
I could sell this babys easiely for 100€ here in germany.

Thats correct.
The dreamcast has 3 region codes: asia, USA and europe
But thats not a big problem. The region mod is one of the easiest mods you can do for the dreamcast. There are just 3 jumpers on the board to select the region.
Yep, this means "you can play all region versions of games" directly.
I'm from Taiwan and Simplified Chinese is nearly the same as Traditional Chinese (grammar wise), the major difference is font.
If you need precise translation, reply here, google translation is nearly unacceptable anyway.
Summary:
1. SD slot and a loader-disc let you play homebrews and/or game images/emulators.
2. All region (Modified Chipset).
3. Some nice hardware modification, with many colors.
Chen says he knows the company that makes this. They made SEGA DC anyway. He is going to swing by this week when he goes to talk to Inventec about something...
They drop the stuff to Taiwan to "assemble" so if I can work some free they will be cheaper. Units are already assembled in China but they maintain the polite Taiwan fiction becuase of the new anti piracy laws... (AKA new bribery laws that make it too expensive to actually build most stuff in China) Thus "Assemble" means put inn pretty boxes for palette shipping.
Those SD cards may be on sale here in the US soon and in EU as well... as far as the VGA mod just use a VGABOX (though I put a link on how to build your own SD adaptor for the SEGA in my first post!)
