PB code archive online

Post by idle »

I've been redoing my site over the last week and have added a live code archive
you can search it directly from the regular search box or from within the archive component
If you want to submit tips and tricks code you can register and post it.

---> You need to use the tags {code} your pasted code {/code}
---> There's no attachment support yet but I'll add it soon
---> If a category doesn't match your post put it in the new category

There are still some glitches to fix
like when you click save presents you with a clear submit form
if you use that form the next time you click save it will spit the dummy (though still updates the dB)
So to avoid it after you click save, click the Submit PB Code in the UserMenu to refresh the form

Once I've sorted out the uploading I'll open the tutorial section
and the next steps, I'm still thinking.

thanks for the compliment :D

Yes it might be a bit slow, NZ is like the arse end of the internet. Purebasic forum usually takes up to 5 seconds to load properly for me.
Though if it's really slow, I can always move it to a server in Europe.

Added code citation so you can copy to clipboard, please let me know if I missed any keywords.
Added code tags so you don't have to enter them, just paste between them
note editing a post currently won't restore the citation.

Improved the search so you can search for functions from either the search on the top menu or from the archive filter
