Augmented reality is COOL...

I just installed the Layar Reality Browser on my Huawei Android phone, and this is the coolest app ever..

After selecting a layer, it uses the cam to augment the reality around you, and lets you see things
around you that you never knew about.

Use the phone to look for ie, friends, apartments for rent, jobs, restaurants, h*rny girls, your own
ass, whatever.. Just using the phone as a looking glass.

Unbelievable, so check it out, it's the future, and makes me think social networks like facebook is
a thing of the past.

Very cool, I'm also surprised to see that my phone geotags every picture I take with it. Wow.. I
didn't know that.

Looks interesting! Unfortunately I have a Nokia phone, so I have to wait
for the Symbian OS version that's currently under development.

[Edit] When I said "unfortunately" I mean because I can't use this app,
not because the Nokia phone sucks. It's a great phone (X6 model)!

Yes, Nokia has some great phones, and Layar will probably show up in the Ovi store as well.

What I suspect will happen is that Google buy this technology, since its seems to fit so well
into what they do, like Google Earth.
