i read some days ago this pixel-shift-thingy can be faked by taking a copy from an image and zoom it very little in horizontal direction and cut the extending areas.
dunno if it works but it's worth trying.

i wish i had more time ..

I completely revamped the algorithm = 2D> 3D

for the map:
