Problems when ordering PB (online order via Paysite Cash)

Post by happer66 »

After enjoying the forum and trying out some sample sources in PB I decided to purchase it so I can start my coding career.

But Paysite Cash declined my cc, does anyone here know if there has been problems ordering recently?

There was one thing that bugged me when I was filling in the form, my cc is issued like this:
FIRSTNAME MIDDLENAME LASTNAME
That's how I usually type my name when ordering with my cc, the form wanted firstname and then lastname only.

I tried a second time by supplying my firstname and middlename in the 'firstname' field but that didn't really work.
There's a transaction# in the 'declined mail' I might try and contact Paysite Cash, they might have more specific info what went wrong.
If all else fails I might have to google what a euro cheque is, but ordering online is a bit more practical.

Anyone had similar issues?

Oh. Maybe I'll do a blogpost about the issue also

So it is fixed?

Or you just put your first name and then your last name and it worked? Credit card companies really don't use the middle name in most transactions. Not for any online banking I have ever used. Middlename is an option and many people do not have it. I don't. My cards have firstname and last name only. :D
Binarily speaking... it takes 10 to Tango!!!

It's sorta fixed, I got a paypal link from fred that worked better.

I understand the confusion, the typo was just me misspelling cheque (I used the swedish word 'check'), so it had nothing to do with my issue, sorry
I always had to use all my names in the past since it's the way my cc was issued. It's usually just one field in the form where you type it all together, this is the first time I've ever seen 2 fields.

But an option to choose between paypal and the not-so-professional looking Paysite Cash would've been nice imho :!:

When it only asks for first and last name, you should only type in your first and last name. This is not uncommon and I run into it all of the time. It really is a non-issue.
Best wishes to the PB community. Thank you for the memories. ♥️

I agree. That's why I was puzzled when it was declined, and the only thing that differed (from other successful payments) in that form was the first/last name bit so I drew the conclusion that it might be the culprit.
The most likely reason would be that paysite had trouble communicating with my bank at the time. Shit happens

Thanks for the input though, now I'm just waiting for my password to the user area so I can bin the demo version.
