For everything that's not in any way related to PureBasic. General chat etc...

Is there a way to filter the forum ads?

I don't mind the text ads but do we really need to see ads like this?

I can't see the ad you mean because I'm using Firefox with AdBlock Plus. Works great.

I don't mind the ads, they are well placed so they aren't in the way like they are on some sites I've visited.

And I will not begrudge Fred and company the money they get for displaying them by complaining about them. :)

I don't mind the ads either, I actually like them! (yes I like the fact that Fred and the team finally tried this)

And about blocking them, well, that's just lame! If people continue to block ads they will actually destroy the backbone of the internet. MANY websites you visit EVERY DAY can exist ONLY because of the money they earn on their ads.

Sorry if your weight is bothering you Mistrel, but please don't take the ads personal...
I like logic, hence I dislike humans but love computers.

It was either about bloatware, or it resembles your sister-in-law...

Ads!!!

I hadn't even noticed them

TBH - I rarely notice Ads anymore - apart from the ones that overlay over the top of the content I want to read - they just annoy

Try adding the IP address to your host file.
The advantage of a 64 bit operating system over a 32 bit operating system comes down to only being twice the headache.

I get ads from flirtcafe :| - that's simply nonsense as we are computernerds and don't need to flirt. And on my website I get "wonderbra" ads because of my domain name: Bradan.Eu. I hate that I can't subtract words of the set google adsense chooses.
bye,
Daniel
