Edit listicon gadget items

Would it be nice if we could edit the items of a listicon gadget? By clicking the items of a listicon
we could be able to write in them or delete the containing text. A #PB_Editable flag should be useful.
Am I wrong?

I found codes in this forum that do this work only for Windows. What about Linux and Mac OS?
As every OS support this functionality, why not PB too?
