[Implemented] OGRE: Relative Entity Movement

Post by Violet »

Heyho,

Since the Forums are updated the search index is not restored yet. So I cannot find out, if this was already posted.

My improvement suggestion for PureBasic is, to change the Entity Movement in the 3D Engine to relative, like it's possible with the camera. Because Entities don't seem to have an own coordinate system. It would be very useful and I think that shouldn't be such a complicated thing.

I finally got the idea posting this after discovering that topic a long time ago already, and finding out, that I am not the only one who would wish that the entity movement would be relative.
best regards,

Violet

I also feel this is a very important function.
Many applications, entities need to move relative to their own coordinate system.

Please consider adding this function.

Is the source code to the Ogre Implementation Library available for download?

If so, I would be interested in participating in its development.
Thanks!
