Visual wiki or visual way of editing wiki's?

Post by Kale »

I need a wiki but without the hassle of people learning wiki markup language. Is there any open source wiki software out there that allows people to edit pages but using visual tools instead of raw markup language?

Is there any open source wiki software which is powerful but very simple?

thanks.

See Wikiwig.

You can also google "wiki WYSIWYG".

Thanks! I've downloaded and successfully implemented a wiki on the companies intranet using this system. It pretty awesome stuff, in fact i haven't found another true wysiwyg wiki, even after much searching.

The is one snag though with wikiwig, the lead developer died! So there hasn't been very many updates to the source this year, infact only one commit as far as i can tell. When i used it on a newly installed WAMP server there was many PHP errors which i had to fix. Thanks to wikiwig being open source though, that's not a problem, i can support and maintain it on our intranet. :D

It's working out really well! Thanks!

Our greatest fear for PureBasic. Hope Fred isn't a party animal. :)
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).
