PurePDF and Mac OS X

Post by jamirokwai »

Hi board :)

has anybody tried to compile and use the PurePDF-Lib on Mac OS X?
Just curious, as I like to export PDFs more easily...

Thanks for any comments!

Edit: Whoa, sorry. I pressed the wrong button. This post should go into the PurePDF-Thread. My fault!

Should be possible :D
There are some api's for the font embedding that have to be filtered out with compilerif's. Unfortunately i have no Mac (except my ipod) so i can't help with testing. Tailbite seems ready to build libs for Mac.
Just try it

Hm. There were too many errors regarding windows-only functions. I
think there is much more effort necessary to put PurePDF onto Mac OS X.

Mist :O

That's great. Thank you!

Now it compiles, IF I comment out these lines (around 2130):

Code: Select all

  If vBias < 0
; vpdfTimeZoneOffset="-"+FormatDate("%hh'%ii'",Abs(vTZ\Bias*60))
  ElseIf vBias > 0
; vpdfTimeZoneOffset="+"+FormatDate("%hh'%ii'",Abs(vTZ\Bias*60))
  Else
    vpdfTimeZoneOffset="Z"
  EndIf
Sadly, all of the examples throw errors about wrong parameter count of
various procedures. I will go and hack an some code together. Possibly
it will work :)

That, in der Tat, would be even better :)

I went ahead and bought the Mac OS 9 disc only to find out that this Mac G4 doe not boot on Mac OS 9. Is there any way to get it to work?
