A road map for PureBasic

Hi,

some days ago, I found a floating point value in one of the millions of postings, it was 4.40 and I thought this will lead to quite a lot questions like...

When the new PureBasic version (or betas) will be available?
Which new/optimized functions and other improvements we can expect?

But nobody asked for that, so I do now

We like to keep things secret until all is really implemented (and working), so we don't make false promises. We are currently working hard on the 4.40 beta and it will bring quite some new stuffs

. If all goes well, a public beta is expected for the end of the month.

Damn, there went my productivity for the rest of the month.. Now I'll just spend all my time refreshing the page to see if the beta is out yet!!

imho an optional email notification system would be cool, so you wont miss it.

no no, a beta should never work properly. otherwise you kill all the fun in testing.

Just subscribe to the rss feed of the blog. I will announce the first public beta as well as all final releases there as well.

Fred & Freak: Do you anticipate user libraries not working with the new version, or were most of the major changes taken care of with 4.30?
