Big difference in exe size Win->Mac

I have a small sql lite program I made, when I compile it on Windows, the size is 337 kb, but when I compile it on my MacBook it results in a 720 kb executable. Why is the filesize so different?

probably the differences in linking.

plus the behind-the-scenes code would be different.
