Problem with file viewer in IDE

Post by harkon »

I searched but couldn't find the search terms to find a description of this problem. I'm not sure that this is a bug as it may be just a configuration error on my part.

When I use the Explorer tool and open a .txt file it opens it in the file viewer. After closing the file viewer a subsequent compile and run fails with the following error.
An Error has been detected in the IDE!
Error: Invalid memory access
clicking the okay button closes the IDE.

Is this known behavior or is this news?
Missed it by that much!!

When you get that message box, it is always (well maybe 99% of the time) a bug.

I get the same error here. So report it as a bug, putting "[x86/x64 IDE]" at the beginning of the subject.
