Any Purebasic games on Game Portals

Hi all,

I've just finished my first ever game using PureBasic and am pleased at how quickly I could put it together as well as its performance.

I now feel ready to write a commercial quality casual game - but I just wondered if there are any examples of PureBasic games that have successfully been submitted to the large Casual Game portals?

Some game frameworks seem to be more favoured than others so it would be useful to know whether anybody on these forums is successfully selling their PureBasic games through the portals.

Thanks.

I too was interested in this question and have not found acknowledgement.
My opinion that the purebasic gfx engine is not reliable enough and convenient for casual games.
I now do two games on purebasic and I use HGE Wrapper.
It is a lot of casual games it is made on HGE therefore it it is checked up and reliable.

Hum. We're using Purebasic for our games and if you search a bit on this forum, you'll see that it's a good platform for ANY project, if you're talented enough.

I've no doubt that PureBasic is up to the job - but I do know that some game portals favour games written in their own sdk (eg PlayGround SDK, popcap) - or require that you embed portal-related source code into your game (where I think the general assumption is that c++ is used).

I just dont want to create a great game in PureBasic only to find that Portals wont accept it on the grounds of the language that was used wasn't c++

And how will they see if your converted code is not done in c++?

He means the game portals, not Rook's personal homepage.
