I don't know anyone personally with kidney disease but I did know someone with liver disease who got the problem cured. You want to look at support organizations and contact specializing centers for the disease for the latest information.
As far as personal goes... well it is personal but I will also be taking a look at their MRI Imaging program as the Doc and I have discussed a few ideas on how to create a better 3D image from the scans...
