Having played with the demo yesterday, and read through the forum, I placed my order this morning, for the full version. I'm a corporate Java developer by day, and I'm looking forward to getting some fun development done with PureBasic in my personal time. Why did I choose it ?
1) The active enthusiasm from Fred, both in development and in the forums !
2) It was what I've been looking for - simple language constructs with minimal compile size, and efficient execution (and inline asm where needed).
3) The potential in the future.
I'm not trying to preach to the converted... just giving my reasons ;o)
Anyway, I'll let you all get back to more interesting things now..
