I voted the right way. :)

BTW, I'm an anarchist - we, by definition, don't have a party. :D

And really, nothing much has changed. Carbon copies out, carbon copies in. Power base is now Unions not Big Biz. Neither are of the people, both push their own agendas to their own benefit.

And, behind the scenes, we will still kiss a bushy ass. :?

But this is the greatest country in the world and who gives a rats ass about the pollies!

Code: Select all

We round up all our pollies
And we keep them in one place
And that seems pretty sensible to me

Cos otherwise those drongos
      Are always in your face
Best we keep ‘em penned inside the A.C.T.

(Which leaves all the rest of Aus for you and me.)

When I need help you give it
      It's accepted with good grace
There will surely come a time when you need me

And I won’t cross your boundaries
And you won’t crowd my space
What’s mine is yours provided we agree

(Agreement is the keystone here you see)
Parts of the Aussie Anarchist non-party's non-anthem. :D

Seriously: why did Howard expect to win when he took away all workers' rights to
overtime, penalty rates, shift allowance, and so on? What an idiot! The mere fact
that he seriously expected us workers to just sit back and swallow it is amazing.
He should have quit after his third term while he was on top; now he has that
permanent stain of being kicked out on his record/resume. Karma exists.

Couldn't have happened to a better bloke...

So now, how do we refer to the new pm. should it be "King Kev"?
Just doesn't have the same ring to it as the old Bob & Hazel Hawke days ---> "King Bonza" & "Queen Hayseed"
But at least I spose we still have "Queen Bessy" of "Buckinghuge Palace"
