[Implemented] Linux: WaitThread

Got an idea for enhancing PureBasic? New command(s) you'd like to see?

Hello PB Team,

Threading

WaitThread seems not in cluded in Linux distribution.

Its not listed in the Thread lib, The Docs say its there
also the TODO does not include its missing.

Feature Request: WaitThread

It would be a shame to keep linux not waiting

Regards,
Norman.

Hi pbdep, this worries me. I only bought pb less than a week ago, specifically for using on Linux. From the amount of posts I've seen it looks as though the Linux version is unusable, or is that not a fair conclusion? Also, anyone any idea of when the next release may be? I've emailed Fred but got no answer yet (I forgive him, it is xmas after all

Hi dmoc,

When reading the documents i looks exiting for Linux, but i think
PB Teams needs a little more input for Linux  Overall it seems
that a lot of Windows users use it (how abut Amigas?).
Linux needs to be 1o1 with windows and that needs input,
thats why im posting a lot

Yes there are some main functions missing for the use in linux,
wich are critical for linux use, And i bought it too ( 2 weeks ago)for use under linux  Still i can only build my programs under windows and hope linux release catches up very quick!

I realy hope that PB team will do its best , i think so, and will
release the next release 1o1. I dont know when eighter

Greetings,
Norman.

The Windows version of PureBasic is the primary version, and always
updated first. Then, Linux/Amiga follow, but at a slower rate. So
while Windows has many cool commands and features, it always takes
a bit longer for Linux/Amiga to be ported from the Windows version.
