Updating 3.30 to 3.40 problem

When updating from 3.30 to 3.40 the following error occurs when compiling.

The compiler isn't ready, Pleasy try again.

When update to 3.30 it is working again.

Using Windows 98 SE
Registered PB version : 3.40 (Windows)
