GTK-Error with Linker

Hi!

I always get following error, when trying to run or compile:

You need to install the gtk2 devel package.
Post what distribution you use if you have problems with that and we can help.

That looks like Mandriva.

..and GTK2+ devel are missing... (minimum)

try http://home.arcor.de/x-linux/pure/pbenv ... 0-i386.deb

it should solve all dependencies (if mandriva is debian based?)

As most good distros, it's not

Mandriva uses rpm files.

Yes, it's Mandriva 2007 and I looked at the DVD, no gtk2-dev is included with this distro ;o(

And I see, that I have installed Pango, but no Pango-devel is available ;o(
