House in the NL

Post by Character »

My stone house is 10 years old, has 2 floors and a kind combination of attic with a big outdoor terrace. (10x5 m) --> so, on top of the house..
(but I don't use it)
Garden and garage. Only neighbor on the left side.
(he is a strange guy)
Full central heating, all hardwood double glassed windows.
Open kitchen and two toilets.

Costs: about 150.0000€ (all costs etc. included)

Most expensive here = health insurance, city taxes and gas!
With gas I mean the stuff you gulk into your car and the one for your heating.

Were can we move to? Mexico? Too much bandito's...

Good wage - 1.500€
Wow, that's not much. My first real job I had a monthly sallary of 2.732 € before tax. My income tax is 36 %. And that is a pretty moderate income here I think.

When I drove a cab I had around 37,668 $ annually, which isn't too bad, but I din't get rich either.

For that you'll get a cabin for 4 people here. You can maybe get a small flat outside of the city, but that would probably be a real dump.

Same

I think the average income is about the same here but income tax is around 25%.
Don't worry, they steal it somewhere else from.

* Decent meal and a few drinks? --> 35€ a man. (no junk food he)

Wow! Man that's expensive !
About the prices... Yes, here things are quite cheap but the salarys are small too... It's a very good idea to come here from a foreign country and invest (start a buisness) because things are pretty cheap and it's quite profitable :).
