I just removed it from my system opera 9 still does not work correctly!!
NO (anti) flash blocking (amazing).
Sites not correctly rendered (cnn.com, bbc.com, tweakers.net)
No 'reload' without click (or enter) first even when the checkmark is on for "never ask this question again" since version 5 this does not work very OLD bug...
and more rubbish. No I stick to good old FireFox (1.5.0.4)

Just turn off flash in the settings.Jan Vooijs wrote:NO (anti) flash blocking (amazing).
cnn.com renders exactly equal to firefox here (except that the ads are blocked in Opera).Jan Vooijs wrote:Sites not correctly rendered (cnn.com, bbc.com, tweakers.net)

Opera has a built-in ad blocker.Opera sucks..... you just can't beat Firefox and its handy extensions..... I see no ads at all with Firefox.....
I can't compare opera with firefox.
Both browsers are fast, both are reliable and they both have adblockers and so on.
Its a matter of preference. I have installed both Opera and Firefox, and even though firefox is launched on a daily basis i start Opera once in a while to get some "different impressions" of stuff.

I see no ads at all with Firefox..... and I can right-click an eBay user name to see all of that user's neg feedback...... try doing THAT with Slopera!!!!!!

I like logic, hence I dislike humans but love computers.
And why another browser war...
Thanks for the news, would've missed it otherwise.
If anyone's interested in trying a new Opera Skin, I recommend this one (it's a link)
Off Topic: Why are links formatted the same as normal text anyways?

Turning OFF flash blocks allways and everywhere in Opera, you can click a flash and see it THAT function is NOT working in Opera9.Trond wrote:Just turn off flash in the settings.Jan Vooijs wrote:NO (anti) flash blocking (amazing).
Sorry not on my end CNN is wrong rendered by Opera, wrong separation of subjects (a line is missing) overlapping items (obscured). NOT in IE and NOT in FF.Trond wrote:cnn.com renders exactly equal to firefox here (except that the ads are blocked in Opera).Jan Vooijs wrote:Sites not correctly rendered (cnn.com, bbc.com, tweakers.net)
That is when you start OPERA (5 till 9) if one check the checkmark so not to let Opera ask every time you start opera that same silly question it keeps asking that even when the check is ON (or OFF). A very old bug and the opera buiilder are NOT correcting it.Trond wrote:???No 'reload' without click (or enter) first even when the checkmark is on for "never ask this question again" since version 5 this does not work very OLD bug...

But feel free to use opera if you like it. I mearly vented an other opinion about Opera. I like FireFox because it is trully working (a correct render), has a extension to selective (aka site related) flash blocker, better management of add blocking than Opera.
