I need Viruses !

Post by Inf0Byt3 »

I'm making progresses with PureAV (in my free time) and I downloaded all the viruses I found on the net :D. But that ain't enough for me. Do you have some collections or some viruses? If so, PM me please :D. I currently have ~50.000 virii ready to be detected.

Install Windows XP, disable all firewalls, go make a cup of tea and by the time you return - hey presto! 50000 more viruses! :D

Seriously, I delete the *astards as soon as I find them! Your project is fascinating though, I wish you well with this one - it's a bit of an undertaking!

That's a point info. Recalling what happened to your speed setup project - back this one up! :D

Who needs a AntiVirus? I always delete them myself :-P . They aren't faster than me. *joking*

Good luck with that project, how do you check the running processes?

Of course! BTW, speaking of SpeedSetup, I started it again, now it's professional. (All stuff included, you can even create serial-protected installers) but I have't got any time to finish it :(.

That's the easyest part, the real problem is optimizing the scan time on a file and of course, PE decompression... A lot of work to do, but I've got 2 friends that allready joined me. One knows C, the other C++, maybe they'll help me. I found a strange thing: The same code in C is 120 times faster than PB  so I think i'll make the engine in straight C and the other modules in PB.

Can't be the same code then, or it would be the same speed. :) (j/k)
