I guess Fred added a delay, so no one can kill the forum by making 200 search in a second.

And btw, a moderator should delete your postcount for this!!

I think that's the phpBB default setting, from what I can remember......... The phpBB forums all underwent an upgrade recently (that's why we all had to log back in here again) so the default search setting probably kicked back in too.......

I always hated those locked down searches. They are always some absurdly high amount like 60 seconds or something. 10 seconds wouldn't be too bad...
