I know this is the Off-Topic forum, but does off-topic include plugging
a competing product to PureBasic? I wouldn't think so, but if nobody

Sorry WolfGangS, I was just trying to protect Fred's interests.
I didn't mean to offend you... I just thought talking about a
competing product was "wrong", as it draws attention to that
product to any lurkers here who may not even be aware of it.

No, I said "lurkers", not PureBasic users. Example: Someone is here
looking at the posts to see if they want to buy PureBasic. They then
see a topic about BlitzMax and think, "I wonder what that's like" and
so click on the link provided, check it out, and decide to buy that
instead of PureBasic... and they only found out about it due to a link
on a *PureBasic* forum...
