PureBasic 4.00 for Windows

Post by Fred »

Hello folks,

After several months of public testing, we jumped in the wild and decided to release the new major version of PureBasic. Most of you already knows all the new features, so we won't list them again (to consult them, see http://www.purebasic.com/news48.php). A new 'Syntax highlighting' dll has been added in the SDK directory for those of you who want to manipulate PureBasic source files with ease.

We would like to thanks all of you for the feedback we got, it was a quite massive task to test and run into major issues. We hope it will bring you more power for better applications and games !

Enjoy,

The Fantaisie Software Team.

We'll do! Thank you Fantaisie Software!
Good programmers don't comment their code. It was hard to write, should be hard to read.

No programming language is perfect. There is not even a single best language.
There are only languages well suited or perhaps poorly suited for particular purposes. Herbert Mayer

Old bugs good, new bugs bad! Updates are evil: might fix old bugs and introduce no new ones.

Thanks for all the hard work in producing this masterpiece!

As soon as my budget allows, I'll be "donating" to the effort.
