When I do a directory search for "*.pb", I will not get files with the extension ".pbi". Ok.
But when I search for "*.pbi", I will also get files with a ".pbix" extension, for example. Same with "*.htm" search, that also finds ".html".
This seems to be normal behaviour of the (Windows) operating system, since the DIR command (command box) does the same.
How does Linux handle this?
Dir search, extensions
Dir search, extensions
