Am I addicted to PB Forum?

Post by techjunkie »

OK, I'm a PB Forum addict! I admit it... It's a strange place, with very strange people... but most of the time there is a connection between the people involved and I have never experienced that in the same way in any other Forum.

The guys and gals in this forum is very generous (and kind most of the time)... and I think that is rare.

I am fanatic. This is the only forum I visit.

I'm definitely addicted. :) I use Firefox and this is always Tab Number 1 open.
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Same here
Good programmers don't comment their code. It was hard to write, should be hard to read.

Hehe, my work gets affected because I always peek at the forums instead of
doing my job. :? Hope my boss doesn't find out. I always clear the History and
Cache when I finish work for the day, just in case.

I was busy with with VB when I 1st discovered PureBasic. It was almost like fate. I had a few weeks prior to finding PB gotten a price for a licenced copy of VStudio I think it was which came out something like $1170 Au & I was somewhat horrified & had decided pretty much "Naaah"
Then 1 Saturday wandering around a store over here called Harvey Norman I noticed a boxed copy of this strange little program called PureBasic. It was so cheap my 1st reaction was "must be rubbish", but at the price I thought why not & so bought a boxed version which was about V3.11 I think. Anyway, after finding I needed to register independantly for updates I did so & combined with this forum, I could not possibly ask for a better or more enjoyable editor to use.
So think it is safe to say I am addicted... :)

Addicted and prone to whining about the little time I can be here.

Yeah Techjunkie, it's a lovely community, respect among the members, very positive attitudes - willing to learn, willing to give. It's a big plus, combined with the fact that this place is also a most precious reference, I could not code without it.
I'm sincerely grateful to have a programmer of your experience in the board - even if I would not subscribe your supposed opinion that you cannot give an absolute ranking mark to a programming language
Too bad for those who left. When was last time Danilo posted? I hope some people will be back for PB4 Gold - "The Revenge".
