Windows XP Briefcase

I am trying to write a program that will create a briefcase on a remote drive and then copy in the folders that I want to keep backups of. I can go the the remote drive and go to file and new and build a new briefcase. I then have a program that will copy all the files that I want into this briefcase and if the briefcase is not there it will stop and tell you that it is not found but I am not able to find out how to create this briefcase folder using PB. Any idea where to look.

I was looking to create a briefcase type of folder on a network drive. Then I was going to use that to keep files synced on a computer. I had started to use the Microsoft backup program but I wanted something to keep a backup copy of the files but also allow the user to access these files if for some reason they deleted them. So sort of a backup for basic users.
