[Implemented] Discard MIDAS, use FMOD PB-Module-Library

....and add all FMOD-API Commands to PB by default...
Or is this a license problem?

I am coding a library using the libmodplug (GPL), 80 % of the work is done so stay tuned
Btw, the future FMOD Ex will be used like standart API function (with the '_' char).

I had thought the same as you Lebostein, that was until I decided to look up the license before saying anything.
Unfortunately today the whole licensing thing of various libraries (because there are so many of them and they aren't all compatible) can be a bit of a mine field. For example if the crypto library I'm translating into PureBASIC wasn't Public Domain, I wouldn't be using it. I'm not a fan of some licenses used by free packages today as I feel they place too many restrictions on use. I always release my stuff as public domain and probably always will (unless somehow I actually write something worth selling
). Anyway that's just my feelings on the subject - I don't claim to be right (or wrong) - just opinionated.

Cant wait for the modplug lib
For awhlie there Brett over at FMod was unable to read his own license and tried to mistakenly attach a commercial license any mmorpg that used fmod ... This was not possible with the 3.63(?) license at that time, and he since modified the license, but still, it was a good laugh
So Im looking for any other open/free media player and modplug seem to fit the bill nicely.

Well, for awhile, the license was worded that a commercial product is defined as actual software itself and not services. Therefore all of those mmorpgs out that lets you download the client for free would be exempt from the commercial license and would qualify for the freeware license. I had a long argument with him about that and he changed the license wording in the next version.
However, if you ever have an olden version of fmod with the old license, thats the one you are liable to follow, with option of following the new one for that version
