2D Tile Game Tools Link

Post by akee »

Anyone know of an all-in-1 tile map graphic editor that can generate images like terrains, do let us know. If it is FREE, it is even better.

Here are some i've found:

http://www.inet2inet.com
http://tilestudio.sourceforge.net
http://www.tilemap.co.uk
http://www.cornutopia.net

It's best feature is that you can import a tile (your own making), and then apply the seemless option to it. The edges are changed so they all connect without distortion or rogue pixels!
