msn messenger plus plugin full of spyware help me help us!

Post by dagcrack »

Lets do something against this shiat!
MSN Messenger Plus is FILLED UP with adware spyware and crap!

I wonder WHY first of all, how much money are they paying the author for adding all this shiat?.

The only use I have for msnplus is for adding a plugin called nstuff plug ng . which lets you know whenever someone closes a conversation (which is useful, say he got bothered by something and you'll know about it because many people just closes the window and gets mad). also when someone deletes you from their list.

Its useful, maybe a little paranoic but it has other useful features, like a nice time-stamp right left to your nick on the messages. which -again- is very useful.

@dagcrack: A little pointer: when you install you can choose NOT to install adware ;) it DIRECTLY asks you if you permit to install it. select NO! it looks like an license agreement but its not :)
so uninstall, clean your pc for ad/spyware and reinstall msn plus and REMEMBER to select no.

I love using GAIM on Linux, it works perfectly with all of my Yahoo Messenger buddies. Thank for the tip on Trillian. I would like to try this on my Windows based laptop. I hope it does not load all the extra crap that the other clients do.
