Flow chart generator

Post by PB »

There is a flow chart generator for many Basics at this site:

http://www.aivosto.com/visustin.html

See what it says in the middle-right of that page? The author is willing to add
support for PureBasic if there is enough demand... so if you haven't already,
please click the Write Us link there and tell the author that you're a PureBasic
developer and would love to see PureBasic support added. Thanks! :)

he responded
All right, I will need to do this! :-)

lots of requests recently.

Cool! :) But not just for me, but for everyone with PureBasic.

It is -- I've used it (the trial) with Visual Basic and it's amazing. Makes it
extremely easy to visualize your code flow. It's not cheap, but it's worth
the money, IMO. I'll be paying for it as soon as PureBasic is added.

Hmm, I just looked at the price again and yes, it's gone up... I'm sure it
wasn't that high when I last looked (a year or so ago). Damn. :(

@Ricardo: Thanks for the link, however they seem to be actual flowchart
designers... the app above creates the charts automatically just by parsing
your source code (no drag-and-drop of flowchart elements needed).

Yes, i notice the differnece, but that sourcecode is a starting point maybe.

I was thinking today... for doing a flowchart software, meybe the best idea is to convert purebasic (or any other language) into XML, then should be easir to manage and understand... just an idea.

The price of that app is really high!!

*Why is this post sticky? Or do i see wrong?

No commission. If you bothered to look at what the app does, you'd see
how it's a great tool for debugging and visualising the flow of your apps.
As I said, the author will add PureBasic support if enough people ask him
for it, hence the topic was made sticky so people don't forget about it, and
so new PureBasic users can see it (otherwise it'd get lost in the posts).
