Losing a loved one...
Losing a loved one...
Today we had to put our dog to sleep.
She was a Carin Terrier and 14 1/2 years old. It is amazing when you stop and think about how willingly and lovingly animals share their lives with us. The companionship and unconditional love given by animals is such a wonderful gift.

Sincerity and happiness for people are about 1 to 6 years old (talking only about our countries, which have a suppossed well-being).
Rest of ages, when adults, scientifically talking, masses fall inside big seas of deceits, and live mostly into "eternal" seas of confusions and contradictions which make them suffer a lot and enjoy a lot too.
Well, I will not get deep inside all that here in this forum. PROMISED TO MYSELF

SR Games,
There is a reason they're called man's best friend.
I lost my black Lab due to cancer over last summer. Many thousands of dollars attempting to help him did nothing and he wound up passing away anyways. It was devestating to me and my family as he was such a loving, happy being. A great loss. So needless to say my heart goes out to you.
Psychophanta,
I understand your point but you know what they say "better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all". It's tough to get a puppy, raise it to a dog and a few years down the road it's life has run out. Very, very tough. When I think back on it, it was worth it though. So many happy memories. I definetly like more dogs than people!
Good to know who the dog people are on these forums.

I understand your feelings. I am a poor human too, so i could feel all that.
Mainly because "All failure includes a frustration", don't ?
I choose frustration before failure. Sorry, but it's my choice.griz wrote:"better to have loved and lost then never to have loved at all"

Hey guys, thank you for the kind words and thoughts.
Over the years, I have lost a lot of pets and I have wept for all of them. The only human that I have wept for was my daughter when she died back in '98 and I definitely wept more for her than any of my critters.i wept more for my dog than any human...
