off topic indeed... anybody who knows / owns some software that does some limited snmp monitoring, this time not aimed at the it industry itself (routers etc.) but at monitoring EQUIPMENT such as hvac / aircon, door contacts, flood detections, netbots and all other sorts of small equipment that nowadays comes with snmp support?
typically it would have to be able to show alerts in different levels, depending on whatever it reads from the external devices...
suggestions welcome, preferably running on the windows platform though linux would do as well...

Hi, I've used Getif for years, it's a nice tool:

If that's not enough you should use something like MRTG, etc.
If you'll find a possibility to do SNMP with PureBasic, I will use it also for me - I wrote a small ping tool which should be enhanced...
