8O 8O 8O Sounds like it has very good features, although no 3D support yet! But that module will be released in the future. :)

Fred has now got to put down this upstart with the mighty PB v4.0!

not way to late, but a bit, yes.

But now that fred is working full time on pure, i think it will soon catch up, as mark has more than 1 project to look at. Ok pb is a mix of all them, but anyway. And blitzmax is still for games..

And since blitzmax modules is writtin in blitzmax, i wonder how fast they can be?

It's not only because of this.

Don't want to destroy anybody's dreams... or financial future, but be aware, there is a new horse in town.
No, it's not a tiny little horse - it seems to be a FREE WILD MUSTANG.

Ok, ok I'm quiet now.
Nope, I don't tell anybody.

Good luck Fred (PB), good luck Mark (BM), good luck Paul (IB).
You guys need every bit of luck you can get...

Heh, it's more like an alpha release of Blitzmax, missing quite a few features plus only one platform .. so.. I would say this version of BlitzMax is about 20% complete.

I don't think fred has much to worry aboat right now, as people have said it doesn't come with 3D module, while you could add one in relitively simply this would take a lot of time, still it is quite an intimadating set of features, that could well end up helpping PB in the end grow.

BlitzMax still has unneccesarily large sized executables according to the information released in the newletter. That is not something I particularly care for myself, and I cannot see what makes BlitzMax so attractive over PB. I am not saying one is greater or one is worse, but I believe PureBasic has alot more promise.

And it's only released for the Mac at the moment too... not for the PC (yet).
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).
