Hi all,
I haven't been around for awhile. I just updated my copy of PureBasic. Wow, I was at 3.81.
There were a few things that stopped me from using PureBasic, but the most annoying was the string limit. Has the limit been removed?
64k string limit, gone?
Re: 64k string limit, gone?
Not yet, but should be done for v4.00 (no release date known).
I compile using 5.31 (x86) on Win 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

Well, the limit is not officially removed yet. The link above, in which I did
post to, is just a hack procedure. Without it, strings are still limited to a
maximum of 63999 bytes.
