Wow, a pretty long list including a lot of MS's own products. Hopefully many of these issues will be resolved before SP2 goes into widespread usage.

Yeah, been experiencing lots of problems myself.
Right now I'm compiling a list of different P2P programs.
So far, NONE of them works as they should, or at all.

BearShare can't connect after SP2.
Shareaza works and connects, but can't seem to download even a simple small MP3. Legal MP3 offcourse ;)

well, m$ doesn't like p2p much (unless it's THEIR flavour of p2p?!?) so it doesn't surprise me...

i think there's not gonna' be an sp2 on this machine for the moment...

Micro$oft can never release a sp to xp with some huge compabilty problemes. many programs must be totally rewritten to work with sp2.

Most of the problemes is probally because microsoft has increased the security level.

Not only programs wont work, but also many drivers

From microsoft:

"Sony: PCV-W510G"

Search after it at google. A computer serie from sony.

This is totally crazy.

No problems here either ...

... but the first thing I did when installing XP was to turn the XP-Firewall off and install my own Software-Firewall. With SP2 the "Security Center" is turned off too (at least the alarms).

@about the Sony-Thing: dunno whether M$ is to blame or Sony
Here in Germany we have a saying: "Sony - So nie" that literally means "Sony - never that way".
I for my part will never again buy a product made by "So nie".

Yeah, now that I've updated to SP2, I get an error when using xpskin. I have to minimize then restore to make it look correct. Didn't have that problem until the update. Look at these images below.
