if i type saver.scr

-> the IDE save under this name : saver.scr.exe

Yes it can be a bit annoying. I was developing a few screen savers and to test them i had to keep renaming the file from *.scr.exe to *.scr, can be a bit labour intensive after about 100 times :roll:
