Sphere xp

Post by Dreglor »

i found a intresting program proably useful to use
it call sphere xp and it takes your desktop and transform it into a 3d sphere were you can place all your windows into
it very cool
a new version is comming out within this week
but there are limits to this it is very res hungry and only works well with meduim settings and the windows are not dynamic there screen shots of the window placed on billboard and you have to double click them to bring them up like normal
my guess all the windows are miniamized till active and sphere xp takes the screen shot before deactivation for the screen shot
and you have to start the program your self it not really a shell replacement

but this is very useful for programming as code doesn't change :)

it makes me wonder if there are other 3d shell replacements

Personnaly, i prefer Madotate : very stable, less cpu/ram usage and simple to use :)

ooooh, minority report-tastic!!
If you paint your butt blue and glue the hole shut you just themed your ass but lost the functionality.
