This is a great resource, with a large forum populated with knowledgable and helpful people.

They also provide an excellent tool called 'Hijack This', which helps you to find out exactly what is going on with your computer.

I use HiJackTHIS since it was first released for public, ages ago. I love the way it scans the registry and lets you manage the crap, erase it and backup it.
