Geek Puzzle
You have found the house, but you haven't found the door yet.
And don't forget to open it with "the cat of the net" (or roll your own^^)

1) 9 * 9 = 81Nik wrote:First you will need to know where to go:
You will get 4 numbers which will lead you to the house and a fifth as a hint to the door, if you find the door you must insert the key.
- The first number is the highest possible multiplication of 2 decimal numbers with 1 digit each.
- The second number is the square of the unlucky number
- The third number is the same written upsight down and backwards, it's a prime and written in Hex it's the name of a vitamin
- The forth number is The Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything PRECEDED with the boolean truth itself
Then knock on the door of the Elite which has the most geeky room number.
To knock on this door you will need the cat of the net to send the passphrase, which is the last name of the man of the gnu and don't forget to concat to it your name.
See if you can solve this puzzle. I will have my cat waiting at the door.
2) 13 ^ 2 = 169
3) 181, Hex(181) = B5
4) 142
5a) House = http://81.169.181.142/
5b) cat of the net = netcat
5c) last name of the man of the gnu = stallman
But I don't get it how I should send the passphrase.. @_@
This doesn't work: printf "stallman" | netcat 81.169.181.142 80
This is a hard puzzle.. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.. @_@
Any more hints?

* Avatar changed for this day ONLY! - I know NOTHING about a bad toupee!!!
I just went to the site Irene... straight in... no passcode needed.
He has the usual weird/normal collection there. Stuff people have.
OK HERE...burn yer brains out on this one!
This puzzle is one of my favorites.
You have twelve blocks, each of which is marked for identification.
One of the blocks is of a different weight. You do not know whether the block is lighter or heavier. Let me repeat that, because this is usually the first thing people get wrong: you do not know (yet) whether the block is lighter or heavier.
Although the blocks are of reasonable size, the difference in weight between the "odd" block and the rest of the blocks is so small that you cannot detect it on your own.
Fortuntely, you also have a highly sensitive balance, which has two pans, A and B. The balance, when used, gives one of three results:
Pan A is heavier
Both pans are the same weight
Pan B is heavier
You may use the balance 4 (and only 4) times. A "use" for this purpose is getting any information from the balance.
You must devise a method which will, when used, answer BOTH of the following questions, in ALL scenarios:
Which block is the "odd" block?
Is the "odd" block lighter or heavier than the rest?
Good luck.
(yes, it's solvable)

Well it's still the door (port) you are missing:\
"Then knock on the door of the Elite which has the most geeky room number. "
Gives you the hint which port is the right one.
