There's only 10 people in this world: Those who know binary and those who don't. And those who mistake it for ternary!

Edit: 57006 is correct, 175 is wrong.

Oh I'm sorry... I didn't notice your EDIT after I posted the answer ~_~

The answer could also be 175. HEX codes for the characters D, E, A and D are 44, 45, 41 and 44 respectively. Add them together plus 1 (you) makes 175.

This post follows the Law of Usenet: if you post a question, nobody will answer it. If you post an answer, they'll all rush to correct it.
That is so brilliant, I think it may be verging on a universal truth! :D

Would this not be D + E + A +D + 1??? that would be 33???

D + E = 1B
1B + A = 25
25 + D = 32
32 + 1 = 33

So my answer is 42! {nod to Douglas Adams!}
How about this one:

He who uses it, knows it not...
He who makes it, needs it not...
He who buys it, wants it not...

What is it?
Binarily speaking... it takes 10 to Tango!!!

This one is very hard!

Only four know it internally, but six knew it internally.
Almost Bea will have it, and everybody knows about it.

Go and figure ^o^

The answer is PureBasic ^o^

Only four know it internally (current PureBasic Team), but six knew it internally (current+former PureBasic developers).
Almost Bea (this is a number in HEX, which represents the number 3050. In this forum we have 3049 users) will have it, and everybody knows about it (everybody here knows about PureBasic).

I think you all were like "whaz thiz???" ^_^

xD

nice idea, but there are other PB forums and not everyone has an account here in the international forums...

we have 2K accounts in the german forum, I guess that means 1K active users,
and only a quarter of it have an account here.

then there is a french forum, and also a japanese...
oh... and have a nice day.

That is an excellent guess... not it though.

Anymore guesses or shall I throw it out in a roundabout fashion? 8)

The preceeding line was a clue

:P Crud!
Yes it is 0 the only number that really isn't there.
OK
Which weighs more? A pound of gold or a pound of feathers?
AND
How many 9's between 1 and 100?
AND
A street that is 40 yards long has a tree every 10 yards on both sides. How many total trees on the entire street?
(I love this one almost everyone gets it wrong!)
hehehe
There are 101 people in a black and white room, 11 more people arrived... How many people are in the room now?
(the preceeding riddle is absolutely evil!) I used to use this on my Final Exam for Computer Science 101...
